Registered office address check
Look up the current registered office of any UK company plus its full address history. Frequent moves, mail-forwarding hubs and PO box addresses can be early warning signs.
What this check tells you
Every UK company must maintain a public registered office where statutory mail can be served. The address must be in the correct jurisdiction (England & Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland). Address history is often the fastest way to see whether a company has been shifted between virtual offices to obscure its trail.
Red flags
- · Very frequent address changes over a short period
- · Shared with hundreds of unrelated companies (accountancy or mail-forwarding hub)
- · PO Box only, or a purely residential terraced address for a "consultancy" trading company
- · Recent move just before a filing deadline or insolvency
